Spark Music Festival, our January grantee!

On behalf of Spark Music Festival  I would like to thank the AWESOME FOUNDATION!

SPARK is excited about the second annual festival, May 26, 2012.

The goal of the festival is to bring community members together with grass-roots organizations to create dialogue while having a blast enjoying great music. We have a great team working hard to bring this festival to the community. We are working tirelessly to build up the festival and get buzz into the ears of music lovers and all the other hard work included in putting a festival together. I’ve posted some contacts for getting involved below.

Thanks to the AWESOME FOUNDATION we are on the way  to offering a fair wage to our musicians. This is going to be a great festival. We have an abundance of joy and good work happening in our community to celebrate while we continue the hard work of creating positive social change.

Here is a little tune I wrote called “The Harvest” which is about keeping hope while pursuing well-being and community through struggles.
